Members Present: Mayor James Coachman, Michael Capehart, Angela Hackney, and George Stringer  

Members Absent: Van Granger

Mayor Coachman opened the meeting at 6:00 P. M.   Mayor Coachman open meeting with a prayer.  Mayor Coachman and the Council led in the Pledge of Allegiance.

*Reported Cottonwood Ambulance & Rescue used 5,726 gallons of water for the month of November.

Mayor Coachman announced that the Alabama House of Representative, Mr, Paul Lee and Senator Mr, Donnie Chasteen called to congratulate the Town of Cottonwood for receiving the CDBG Grant for the Sewer of the amount of $350,000.00 / with a match of $37,972.00.

Jody Solomon with Praestare Engineering came to talk about Sewer Grant and the Paving on Metcalf and Houston Street.

Eli Cepero discussed purchasing the property on Cottonwood road to Metcalf Street to build two homes one facing Cottonwood Road and the other home facing Metcalf Street.  He has offered the Town of Cottonwood $8,000.00 for the first two lots to start construction and will pay for the survey.  Council Member Capehart to approve the sale of the property for $8000.00 and for Eli Cepero to pay for the survey.  A second by Council Member Stringer and the motion was approved unanimously.

Chief Money introduce our new officer Bryan Tate he will be starting full time on the 17th of November.

Enclosed is a copy of the Budget 2021 to look over.  Our auditor Mr. James Whitehead will be at the next meeting to answer any question for the Budget.

Debris pick up will be December 28th.

There being no further business to come before this meeting, there was a motion by Council Member Lorton to adjourn the meeting.  A second by Council Member Capehart and the meeting was adjourned at 6:22 P.M.
