Members Present:   Mayor Ken Hamilton, James Coachman, Michael Capehart, Linda Smith, Ann Adams and Kenneth Hart  
 
Members Absent: 
 
Mayor Hamilton opened the meeting at 6:00 P. M.  Council Member Coachman opened meeting with a prayer. Mayor and the Council led in the Pledge of Allegiance.
 
*Cottonwood Rescue used 5,147 gallons of water for the month of July.
  
*Approval on mobile home purchased by George Adams to be moved on Cottonwood Road beside Robert Boyette. Council Member Adams made a motion to approve mobile home that George Adams purchased to be moved in on Cottonwood Rd beside Robert Boyette. A second by Council Member Hart and the motion was approved unanimously.
 
*Discussion on letting the public have yard sales in the parking lot of old grocery store.
After discussion Council Member Capehart made a motion to approve on letting the public have yard sales at old grocery store parking lot with a deposit of $25.00 which is refundable after parking lot is cleaned up plus the $1.00 permit fee.  A second by Council Member Smith and the motion was approved unanimously.
 
*Mayor Hamilton wanted the Council to have a copy of the Senior Calendar for month of August.  Mayor announce the Annual Community Wide Pep Rally September 6th from 
6 p.m. - 8 p.m. at the Cottonwood Senior Center. 
 
*Leak on Joe Cook Street.
 
*Council Member Adams ask if it was illegal to shoot a gun in the city limits.  Mayor replied YES it is illegal see Ordinance # 05-018.
 
There being no further business to come before this meeting, there was a motion by Council Member Coachman to adjourn the meeting.  A second by Council Member Smith and the meeting was adjourned at 6:16 P.M.
