Members Present: Mayor Ken Hamilton, Michael Capehart, Linda Smith, Ann Adams and Kenneth Hart  
 
Members Absent: James Earl Coachman
 
Mayor Hamilton opened the meeting at 6:00 P. M.   Council Member Smith open meeting with a prayer. Mayor and the Council led in the Pledge of Allegiance.
 
*Valerie Judah running for Houston Circuit Judge on place 1.
 
*Allen Hendrickson running for Houston County Commissioner District 2.
 
*Cottonwood Rescue used 3,473 gallons of water for the month of April.
 
*Approval to except Resolution #2018-004 Ad Valorem Property Tax.  Council Member Capehart made a motion to approval to except Resolution #2018-004 Ad Valorem Property Tax.  A second by Council Member Adams and the motion was approved unanimously.
 
*Approval for Los Amigos #2 to retain a Liquor Licenses with the Town of Cottonwood.  Council Member Adam’s made a motion to approve for Los Amigos #2 to retain a Liquor Licenses with the Town of Cottonwood.  A second by Council Member Capehart and the motion was approved unanimously.
 
*Discussion on 811 Program for the Water Department annual fee’s $450.00 a year.  After discussion Council Member Smith made a motion to approve the 811 program for the water department with an annual fee’s of $450.00 a year.  A second by Council Member Hart and the motion was approved unanimously.
 
*Houston County debris pick up will be May 30th.
*Discussion on grocery store
*Discussion on Playground Equipment
*Discussion on getting a price on a tree in the park
 
There being no further business to come before this meeting, there was a motion by Council Member Hart to adjourn the meeting.  A second by Council Member Adams and the meeting was adjourned at 6:21 P.M.
