Town Council Work Shop

Members Present:   Mayor Ken Hamilton, James Coachman, Linda Smith, Ann Adams and Kenneth Hart  
 
Members Absent: Michael Capehart
 
Mayor Hamilton opened the meeting at 6:00 P. M.  Mayor Hamilton opened meeting with a prayer. Mayor and the Council led in the Pledge of Allegiance.
 
*Cottonwood Rescue used 393 gallons of water for the month of November.
 
*Audri Scott Williams attended our Council meeting: She running for 2018 Alabama District 2 Democratic Congressional Candidate.  She wanted to invite the community to a greet event on Saturday December 9th at 12 noon to 2 p.m. at 645 Grove Street at the Cottonwood Recreation Center around 6:15 p.m.
 
*Mayor announced Fire Department Christmas party on December 11 at the Senior Center.
All employees and Council are invited.
 
*Debris pick up will be December 11th.
 
*Mayor ask the Council to bring forth to the next work shop 3 project for Town to do.
 
*Mayor announced that A/C has been installed and is working in the community room.
 
*Council Member Adams asked about grocery store. 
 
*Council Member Smith wanted to discuss the City Cemetery needing some trees cut and cleaning on the cemetery.  And the cross at Mt of Olives needs to be cleaned. 
 
There being no further business to come before this meeting, there was a motion by Council Member Hart to adjourn the meeting.  A second by Council Member Adams and the meeting was adjourned at 6:10 P.M.
